AnalyzeAbsorbanceQuantification

AnalyzeAbsorbanceQuantification[DataObjs]Object

calculates sample concentration using Beer's Law along with absorbance and volume measurements and calculated extinction coefficients.

Details

  • Concentrations are calculated for each sample in the protocol.
  • This function analyzes only the last absorbance spectroscopy data from each well in the quantification protocol. If iteration occurred during the protocol, only the data from the final iteration will be analyzed.
  • This function utilizes the function "Absorbance" to determine the absorbance value at the specified quantification wavelength. If the requested wavelength is not directly available in the absorbance spectrum of the provided data, interpolation is performed to estimate the absorbance at that wavelength.

Example Setup

These expressions are used in the examples to follow:

Basic Examples  (3)

Analyze the data from an AbsorbanceIntensity run using diluted samples on the Lunatic:

Analyze the data from an absorbance quantification protocol:

Given list of absorbance spectroscopy datas, calculate concentration:

Additional Examples  (1)

Populate the dilutions properly based on the protocol's AliquotSamplePreparation field:

Options  (10)

DestinationPlateModel  (1)

Specify the plate model for the plate in which the samples were diluted during the protocol:

MaxAbsorbance  (1)

Maximum value at Wavelength to be within dynamic range. Absorbance data out side the range will be excluded:

MinAbsorbance  (1)

Minimum value at Wavelength to be within dynamic range. Absorbance data out side the range will be excluded:

Output  (1)

Return resolved options:

OutputAll  (1)

If True, also returns any other objects that were created or modified:

ParentProtocol  (1)

Whether or not this analysis has a parent protocol. If True, then it does not set the author in the upload packet. Otherwise the author is whoever running this analysis:

PathLength  (1)

The path length of light through a sample of interest, assumed to be in the vertical direction:

PathLengthMethod  (1)

The method by which the path length from the plate reader to the sample in the read plate was determined:

Template  (1)

Use the settings from a previous analysis object:

Wavelength  (1)

Specify different wavelengths for different input data objects:

Messages  (1)

NoExtinctionCoefficients  (1)

If a data object does not have the Analyte field populated, an error is thrown:
